Hey everyone so it's been quite a while since I have written on my blog. My life has been so crazy. I can't believe that my time at AMDA is almost complete. I am graduating on February 6th! Let me fill you in on a few things that have happened. So I am now a 4th semester which means I have all night classes and audition during the day time. My first audition was for "Something Rotten." It's a huge tap show that I would love to be in one day. Unfortunately I wasn't seen that day because it was an Equity call. Meaning that only people with Equity cards are seen first and if they have time they will see non-equity people. They didn't have time to see me so I didn't dance at all that day. It was fine though, that's what I can expect in this industry. Since then I have been to quite a few other auditions. Some equity calls and some non-equity calls. I made it through all the way to the end for "Anything Goes", "Shuffle Along" this audition to dance in a tap show at Busch Gardens and a few others. At the Busch Gardens audition I was in the final 6! Can u believe that? In a room of about 40 people I made it down to the final 6. I was so happy! But I haven't gotten a call from them just yet. Maybe they will call me for a job in the future...idk but atleast I know I am headed in the right direction. This audition process is exciting, nerve racking, the whole 9 yards. But I absolutely love it! I get up at like 6 am to head to the city by 8 to put my name on a list with sometimes 150 girls in hopes of getting seen. It's a crazy process but just something about it excites me. Stay tuned with me for more information about the next auditions I do. Next week I am going to the Hamilton audition!!! If you don't know what Hamilton is, it's like one of the newest, hottest Broadway shows right now. I'm super excited for the audition.

Anyway it's about time for me to hit the sack because I have preview night for our showcase tomorrow! My time at AMDA has gone by wayyyyyy to fast and my graduation showcase is only 2 days away! I will be performing in 7 pieces, dancing and singing! I can't wait to perform in front of my friends, and family. Preparing for this show feels just like being in a Broadway show! It's amazing! Anyway, I will keep you updated on how the show goes. Until next time :)
